SMART
- You start learning Polish from the beginning (you will be working with our A Dlaczego? textbook)

- You start learning Polish, you are from a Slavic country
- You want to learn the language because you live here, work here, and you want to stay for a longer period of time
- You have a lot of time: a year or even several years, you plan to stay in Poland for a longer period of time
- Slowly but surely, you are not in a hurry
- You focus on practical skills, but grammar included
- You want to develop skills in speaking, reading, and writing
- You want to learn not only the language, but also the realities of living in Poland
- You want to focus on grammar to achieve accuracy
- Intuition and deduction in learning grammar
- You understand that learning is a process
- You learn by taking your time to do it
- You want to compare Polish to other languages, you play with words, contexts
